This a text that I wrote with my friend and classmate Diogo Soares.

Hello darling, hopefully you're doing well. I know it's been hard to deal with this climate crisis, but I know you will be strong enough to handle it.
I know that since I'm here, trapped in a spaceship travelling somewhere in the milky way, I'm unable to experience what is going on and you know that I would like to be with you to help.
Anyway, we're now in 2030 and everything got worst since I started this mission. I've noticed that there's a few problems that will lead to our planet being uninhabitable and this will get worse because we didn't act fastly.
We thought that our planet had recovered a little bit after the Covid-19 epidemic, but it seems like it didn't do much of a difference, as there is still a high risk of Earth being almost destroyed.
One of the worst problems that i know is global warming, which is constantly getting harder to handle. This, as you know, makes the temperatures get higher and can even make a lot of terrain go underwater mainly due to high levels of pollution.
Over the years artificial intelligence evolved a lot. This is good news, because it makes our lives much easier but it can be wrong for us. A large number of people became unemployed over the years and it's been growing since I came to space.
We must find a way to make our planet sustainable, and we have to do it as quickly as we can. In my opinion the solution would be to investigate, to see if it is possible to leave our planet and try to live in some place else, most likely Mars.
Hope you stay strong and that I can see you soon, kisses.
